...Dice has said MULTIPLE TIMES that the Bad Company games are not sequels to Battlefield 2/2142. If you're waiting for the next true battlefield game, get Battlefield 3 for PC when it's released.
Where is Donald Love?!
Well I guess you certainly shouldn't buy GT5
:(
I'd just like to clarify a few things,
"Last we checked, however, all drivers in-game will be GT branded."
False, Toni Gardemeister and Sebastien Loeb, for case example, are not GT branded, but of their own official OMP suits.

I can really see what Kaz meant when he said they went too far with the detail...
Too human isn't a popular franchise.
I don't see why they couldn't put it on the PC. It could have only helped.
you gotta link? I didn't catch that article; I'd like to see what it looks like though.
GT5 gets no love?
Sad face :(
Yeah I can't wait for Diablo 3. I hope their new project doesn't hinder it's development.
lol that reminds me of their Splinter Cell Conviction review.
I hope they don't compromise the pc version to make it work with consoles.
I see what you're coming from, and I definitely agree that damage isn't GT's strong suit. It's the driving physics that sim develops choose to (and should) focus on. If you're looking for spectacular crashes, even with rollover and premium cars losing body panels, you'll most likely be dissapointed in GT.
On the flip side, GT's other features I won't mention can hold over any remotely interested in cars.
kinda hard to see the scratches and dents in the front when the view is behind the car.
@derkader
ok, now name a game that had ALL of those elements.
Well yes and no; cars such as the BMW M5, Tuscan Speed 6 and Mazda RX8 were reworked and are now premium cars. The Audi R8 wasn't technically in GT4, it was called the Le Mans Quattro or something, which was the prototype.
I guess that really doesn't count though, calling the GT-R Proto the same as the current GT-R would be blasphemous. Same case with the Audi.
Damage applies to ALL cars, premium and standard. Extensive damage, such as panels/doors being removed, and interior damage, are for premium cars only.
And damage affects the cars performance, but don't expect an engine to stall.
Sony doesn't own Insomniac
"If you perform a move correctly, the character's body lights up and your surroundings change. If you perform a move incorrectly, the character will turn red."
Well of course, tracking movements precisely for kinect shouldn't be a problem. It's the latency that seems to be the main issue.
"I suppose the term "if it ain't broke don’t fix it" can perhaps sum up this decision but despite some of the community begging for a R2 accelerator having the X button as the pedal it hasn’t stopped previous versions of Gran Turismo selling by the lorryload."
You can change it in the controller options, quite easily.
Edit:
"Only having a small number of tracks and cars on offer from the selection of over a 1,000 vehicles...
